People & Employer Communications Executive

Blue Legal are partnering with a leading national audit, tax, advisory and consulting firm who are recruiting a People & Employer Communications Executive to join their Cheltenham or Oldbury office. The role involves creating a range of exciting and engaging communications content – from business updates, people communications and wellbeing programmes to sustainability initiatives, alumni and recruitment content and everything in between.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and delivering the firm’s internal communications plan and activities.
- Plan, schedule, and manage internal communications content across channels, including newsletters, intranet, and lock screen messages.
- Collate, edit, and distribute internal newsletters and support creation of specialist publications and projects.
- Work with PR, digital content, sector, regional marketing, and people teams to align messaging and develop engaging content.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with partners, client-facing teams, and support teams to raise awareness of their activities.
- Oversee intranet content to ensure it remains relevant, accurate, and engaging.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on performance of internal communications, applying insights for improvement.
- Act as a brand guardian to ensure consistency and compliance, while also supporting Alumni team content.
The Candidate:
- Strong written and verbal communication, ability to translate technical content into engaging material, with accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent language skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, delivery-focused, with strong time management, ability to meet strict deadlines, and handle challenging situations with diplomacy and discretion.
- Effective team player who can also work independently, managing and prioritising workload efficiently.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 and HTML emailing platforms (e.g., Concep Send); degree-level education (or equivalent), with at least 18 months’ internal communications experience (professional services experience desirable).
