Blue Legal has partnered with a leading professional services firm who are looking for an established Marketing Manager to lead their Energy group. The role holder will manage a small team and report into the Head of Marketing and will be key to the development of the groups marketing plans and activities to support development and growth. Having a key interest or experience within Energy will be advantageous and B2B marketing experience is a must.

The Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual marketing plan including, targeting and tactical strategies.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure the growth strategy is in-line with the over firm growth plans and brand.
  • Lead the delivery of the marketing programme and collaborate with the wider marketing and BD team.
  • Line manage a smell team, ensuring to prioritise their growth and development and work closely with them to deliver set marketing plans.
  • Ensure the work and results of marketing campaigns are in-line with the firm’s standards.
  • Develop and grow a strong brand and voice across all marketing channels.
  • Manage the delivery of projects and tasks including taking briefs, follow up, measuring return on investment, and ensuring internal stakeholder buy in at all stages.
  • Work with specialists in the team (eg PR, digital, design, CRM, events) and external agencies and suppliers where appropriate to deliver successful results.

The Candidate:

  • Must be educated to Degree level or to have an equivalent qualification.
  • Will come from a professional services background, working within a similar B2B role.
  • A deep knowledge of marketing processes for professional services and an understanding of new business processes, digital marketing, CRM and the emerging technologies.
  • People management experience.
