Blue Legal is partnering with a leading international law firm to recruit a Marketing & Events Manager to join its London office. Working closely with partners and the wider Marketing & Business Development team, the successful candidate will lead the firm’s UK and international events programme, ensuring activity aligns with strategic priorities, strengthens client relationships and delivers measurable business impact. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced events professional to join a global, highly regarded professional services firm.

The Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver an events strategy aligned with firm and sector priorities.

· Manage the firm’s events programme, calendar and reporting, ensuring activity delivers maximum value and ROI.

· Work closely with lawyers and marketing teams to improve event targeting, client engagement and follow-up activity.

· Oversee the delivery of in-person, virtual and hybrid events, providing guidance and support throughout the event lifecycle.

· Lead the planning and delivery of key internal events, including partner conferences and town halls.

· Drive best practice across event planning, communications, data capture, reporting and post-event analysis.

· Monitor event performance and provide recommendations to improve future activity and return on investment.

· Collaborate with digital, CRM, brand and communications teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.

· Support the promotion of events across internal and external channels to maximise attendance and engagement.

· Line manage and support a Marketing & Events Executive.

· Assist with wider marketing and business development projects as required.

The Candidate:

· Previous line management experience.

· Strong experience managing and overseeing in-person, virtual and hybrid events.

· Experience within a legal or professional services environment.

· Marketing qualification (CIM or equivalent) desirable.

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

· Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Experience using CRM and email marketing systems to support event delivery and follow-up.

· Knowledge of digital marketing and integrated campaign activity.

· Commercially minded, proactive and results-focused.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insight to improve performance.

· Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support events outside standard working hours when required.
