Our client, a leading international law firm renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to client service, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their Technology sector team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the firm’s strategic growth and enhance cohesion across the business. The successful candidate will support the Technology sector lead partners, focusing on direct-to-market activities, cross-practice collaborations, and staying on top of technological advancements affecting businesses.

The Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Technology sector strategy and go-to-market programme.
• Identify, qualify, and convert leads into business opportunities and revenue.
• Manage, lead, and contribute to bids and tenders for the Technology sector, working closely with the specialist bids team to provide sector-specific insights.
• Develop and manage thought leadership campaigns to enhance sector profile and growth.
• Own and manage the business development budget, ensuring adherence to planned activities.
• Maintain and manage technology credentials, case studies, and standard bid content on the central system.
• Build products and sales materials in collaboration with practice and tech specialists.
• Engage with sector leaders, client teams, and CRPs on priority programme clients.
• Develop and maintain key messaging for the Technology sector across various marketing channels.

The Candidate:

• Proven track record in business development within an international law firm or professional services organisation, with a focus on the Technology sector.
• Experience leading bids and pitches to secure new business opportunities.
• Exceptional project management skills, able to manage multiple responsibilities and tight deadlines.
