Blue Legal is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a Business Development & Marketing Executive to join its Leicester office. Working closely with Partners and Fee Earners, the successful candidate will support a broad range of business development and marketing initiatives, helping to drive client engagement, raise the firm’s profile and support new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive marketing and business development professional looking to develop their career within a collaborative and growing legal environment.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage and attend client events, webinars, networking opportunities and awards events, supporting the firm’s profile-raising and business development activities.
- Coordinate tenders for private and public sector legal panels, while assisting with the production of credentials, proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
- Support Partners and Fee Earners with the implementation of client, team and individual business development plans, helping to identify and progress growth opportunities.
- Prepare marketing materials for seminars and hospitality events, including presentations, delegate packs and promotional materials.
- Coordinate legal directory submissions, maintain accurate records within the firm’s CRM system and manage follow-up actions arising from business development meetings.
- Promote content across social media channels, support PR initiatives and assist with internal and external communications activities.
- Coordinate photography and profile-raising opportunities for new joiners and wider firm initiatives, while supporting a range of ad hoc marketing and business development projects.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience within a business development and marketing role, ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
- Experience supporting tenders, proposals or pitch processes would be advantageous, alongside strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while building strong internal and external relationships.
