Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Manager focusing on Litigation, Arbitration, and Investigations, to join their London office. You will identify opportunities using strong practice insights and data-led intelligence, drive cross-selling, execute client-centric BD activities, strengthen client and internal stakeholder relationships, and inform the overall BD strategy to drive profitable revenue growth.
The Responsibilities:
- Lead growth of the practice through development and implementation of business development BD plans aligned with global strategy.
- Ensure local and client targeting strategies support global BD objectives and overall firm goals.
- Build strong connections across global BD teams to drive collaboration, alignment, and information sharing.
- Maximise use of global resources, tools, and shared services to ensure process consistency and efficiency.
- Execute focused practice group and client growth plans, including cross-selling initiatives and compelling go-to-market campaigns with Client & Sector BD teams.
- Use data-led insights, market intelligence, and client feedback to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and strengthen pipeline and pitch efforts.
The Candidate:
- Extensive business development experience in legal or professional services, particularly within Litigation, Arbitration, and Investigations, with a proven ability to create and execute growth-aligned BD strategies.
- Strong track record in collaboration across global teams, drive cross-selling, and deliver high-quality pitches and panel submissions.
- Skilled in using data and market intelligence to identify opportunities, inform strategy, and generate actionable business insights; holds a degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
