Blue Legal are partnering with a leading global law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Business Manager, with a focus on Employment & Incentives, Pensions and Tax, to join their London office. You will review opportunities identified using strong product insights and data-led intelligence, ensure cross-selling, and inform the BD strategy to drive profitable revenue growth. The firm are looking for a strong leader to manage an established team and to collaborate with wider teams globally.
The Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement BD strategies and client growth plans for the Employment & Incentives, Pensions, and Tax practices, aligned with global firm objectives.
- Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to support strategic goals and ensure consistent communication and collaboration.
- Manage and monitor BD initiatives and performance metrics, adjusting tactics to achieve desired outcomes and continuous improvement.
- Use data-driven insights, market intelligence, and client feedback to identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with global BD and marketing teams to deliver targeted go-to-market campaigns, cross-selling initiatives, and compelling pitch submissions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing BD team, ensuring operational efficiency, alignment with firm processes, and a positive team culture.
The Candidate:
- Extensive BD experience within legal services, with deep knowledge of Employment & Incentives, Pensions, and Tax practices, market dynamics, and deal structures.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic BD plans, build senior stakeholder relationships, lead teams, and drive cross-practice collaboration.
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making, KPI management, and creating high-quality pitches and proposals; holds a degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
