Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join their Nottingham or Leicester office. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in generating and delivering new business. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, delivering revenue growth, and expanding our mid-market and corporate client base across the East Midlands.
The Responsibilities:
- Support the firm in executing its 5-year strategic plan.
- Drive growth by creating, managing, and delivering new business initiatives across the region.
- Identify and pursue new business and cross-selling opportunities with existing and potential clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to generate leads and inform strategy.
- Coach and mentor stakeholders on business development best practices.
- Collaborate with Partners and Directors to design and deliver innovative products and services.
- Build strong relationships with intermediaries and attend networking events to expand market reach.
- Manage BD pipelines, campaigns, and events while coordinating with PR, digital, and marketing teams to maximise impact.
The Candidate:
- Strategic and entrepreneurial business developer with proven success in driving revenue growth within UK corporate, mid-market, and SME environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Commercially astute with excellent project management, CRM/digital proficiency, and the ability to brief marketing teams and produce compelling campaign content.
