Blue Legal are partnering with a national law firm to recruit a Business Development Manager to join their Wimbledon office on a 12 month FTC basis, specialising in Social Housing and Local Government. This is a hands on role within a busy team of specialists dedicated to client relationships, business growth, and maintaining their position as go to advisors.
The Responsibilities:
- Monitor, budget, and report on revenue, pipeline, and client performance; manage CRM updates and market horizon scanning.
- Drive growth with top clients through strategic plans, manage sales opportunities and produce reports to inform sector strategy, especially in Social Housing and Local Government.
- Deliver marketing plans, events, and thought leadership; lead directory submissions and support client onboarding with the bids team.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, industry bodies, and external partners support internal teams with brand development and sector expertise.
- Lead sector meetings, support firm-wide BD initiatives, oversee junior team development, and champion the use of client analytics tools.
The Candidate:
- Proven track record in business development within legal or professional services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build senior level relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
