Blue Legal are partnering with a leading national law firm who are recruiting for a Bid Manager to join their Liverpool office. The role involves providing tender & presentation support to Partners across the firm to contribute to the overall financial objectives of the firm.
The Responsibilities:
- Track emerging bid opportunities, maintain a database of prospects, and gather competitor intelligence to inform strategy.
- Establish and implement a structured bid process, ensuring partners are aware of procedures and supported effectively.
- Create and maintain a central knowledge bank of frequently used bid and pitch information for efficiency and consistency.
- Manage end-to-end production of bids and presentations, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and coordinating with BD teams and partners.
- Produce reports on bid performance, conduct client feedback meetings, and use insights to improve the firm’s offering.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to partners, coordinate training programmes, and assist with wider business development and marketing projects.
The Candidate:
- 5+ years’ B2B business development experience (incl. 2+ in professional services), with strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
- Proven project/time management, organisational, influencing, and presentation skills; confident, resilient, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal communicator who can support senior stakeholders, work across teams, and travel for both internal and client-facing responsibilities.
