Blue Legal are partnering with a leading professional services firm who are recruiting for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their Kent office on a 12 month FTC basis, working part-time hours. The role involves project managing and co-ordinating the delivery of core business development activities daily, and providing high-quality service experience for internal clients and third parties while adhering to the firm’s brand guidelines and business development best practice. Please note the part-time hours are the equivalent of 3 full working days.

The Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and measure business development campaigns across sectors and services, including pipeline tracking and lead generation.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, identify cross-selling opportunities, and recommend relevant services to prospects.
  • Manage intermediary relationships, identify internal and external referral sources, and represent the firm at industry events.
  • Plan and execute marketing events and webinars, including logistics, communications, and coordination with suppliers and speakers.
  • Support advisory service line BD plans, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for PR, social media, and website content.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials such as tender documents, pitches, proposal toolkits, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Provide BD support services by coordinating with external agencies, assisting fee earners with BD plans, and ensuring effective internal communication.
  • Track and report on BD activity, manage CRM databases, and coordinate follow-up on referrals and business opportunities.

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience in business development and marketing, ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and delivering results.
  • Resilient under pressure with sound judgment and decision-making skills, backed by technical and professional competence.
