Blue Legal are partnering with a leading intellectual property law firm who are recruiting for a Bids, Tenders & Proposals Manager to join their Leeds office. The role involves working closely with colleagues at various levels as well collaborating with members of the marketing team.
The Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of tenders, proposals, and pitch documents, including high-value private and public submissions.
- Research and assess tender opportunities, presenting insights to stakeholders and facilitating informed decision-making.
- Coordinate with partners, associates, and support staff to gather input, acting as the key liaison during the tender process.
- Create compelling, industry-specific content that clearly articulates the firm’s strengths and competitive advantages.
- Manage the tender planning calendar, maintain a central proposal content repository, and continuously refine processes based on results and feedback.
- Train and mentor attorneys and junior staff on tendering best practices and content development.
The Candidate:
- Proven track record managing public and private sector tenders in a professional services environment, with strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly, proficient in proposal management tools and online platforms.
- Commercially minded with an understanding of law firm value propositions, ideally with experience or familiarity in intellectual property law and related services.
