This international law firm is looking for a Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their London team. You will lead marketing and BD activities to promote profile, develop key client relationships and drive revenue growth. This role reports into the Director of Marketing & Business Development, but will also take direction from the Industry Group Leader and practice Partners.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Partners, develop and implement strategy and business objectives for the global practice, including activities to drive revenue growth
  • Ensure effective integration in international cross-practice business development
  • Proactively drive the industry group’s brand awareness through creative communications and business development activities, including market and client research, database management, thought leadership, PR, targeting, directory and award submissions, and events
  • Proactively create business development opportunities and harnessing cross-sell opportunities
  • Draft high quality pitch, RFP/ITT and capability documents
  • Actively manage the firm’s Client Development programme, including the continued development and implementation of those client accounts relevant to the practice
  • Manage the requirements for all marketing materials and activities in support of the business development programme e.g. brochures, client/market research, directory submissions, website content, client bulletins/briefings, social media, seminars, conferences, reporting/ROI
  • Support the regional marketing team in relation to activities that are being led out of the regions, including pitch input and insights
  • Ensure that the firm’s branding approach is implemented consistently and effectively
  • Ensure internal systems (such as InterAction and Vuture) are used to full effect
  • Regularly report on development activities and ROI

 

The Candidate:

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Proven experience of initiating and implementing successful BD and marketing communications activities within a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills including oral/written communications
  • Strong IT skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, InterAction (or similar CRM database)
