The Company

An international law firm based in Bristol, are currently seeking an experienced PR and Communications Manager on a 12 month FTC. The ideal candidate will be supporting the Senior Comms Manager and Head of the Comms to implement profile raising activities for the health sector whilst working with internal stakeholders.

The Responsibilities

  • Briefing spokespeople for interviews and dealing with journalists appropriately.
  • Provide advice and suggestions on media relations for best practice for the law firm.
  • Drafting press releases and submissions.
  • Analyse, measure and report on all communications activity.
  • Handle day to day media enquiries and analysing press coverage.
  • Help raise the profile for the health sector on all social channels and support the implementation of the firm’s overall Digital Strategy.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of internal systems and processes.

The Candidate

  • Experience of successfully implementing PR plans in professional services.
  • Strong writing skills whilst adapting to different audiences and channels.
  • Have proven track record of building effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Understand the risk environment that PR/comms operates in.
