A leading accountancy firm is recruiting for a Senior Sales Executive to join their National Sales Team to generate new business to meet the Firm’s strategic growth targets. The role holder will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, with a focus on targeting prospects to develop a sustainable new business opportunity pipeline for London.

The Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to identify a coherent sales strategy
  • Manage their own sales and new business activity to deliver revenue targets from multiple products and services
  • Source new businesses with the aim of building profitable long term client relationships
  • Build a multi-service new business pipeline
  • Generate potential income through consultative, proactive and reactive sales approach
  • Engage and deliver client pitches in all areas of the new business life cycle, including tenders and proposals preparation
  • Support partners and directors with sales and business development activities
  • Develop strategic relationships with intermediaries
  • Act as a key point of contact for all clients and prospects’ queries during the sales process
  • Identify referral and cross selling opportunities
  • Ability to plan tasks effectively, monitor timelines and allocate work to less experienced colleagues whilst monitoring task completion to ensure quality of results

The Candidate:

  • Proven substantial sales experience within the professional services sector
  • Experience in identifying, building and managing a sales pipeline
  • Proven evidence of close a number of significant client deals
  • Proven record of new sales generation
  • Knowledge. Training and sales delivery in full accountancy services is desired
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and problem solving capabilities
  • Extremely confident dealing a board level and have a creative, professional and forward thinking approach
