A commercial law firm is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead and develop business development activities across their Employment and Pensions Group in Manchester. This is a collaborative role where you’ve build proactive relationships with employment and pensions fee earners across all the offices whilst reporting into the Client and Market Development Director.

The Responsibilities:

  • Strategically and tactically planning and delivering value-added business development support
  • Work with partners to agree joined up business plans
  • Ensure the successful execution of business plans and measure results
  • Identify and develop target markets
  • Adopt a consultative approach and customer focused mind set
  • Act as a single point of contact for the Employment and Pensions Group
  • Identify future business models and value propositions

The Candidate:

  • Degree educated or a recognised qualification in marketing (CIM)
  • Proven experience delivery business development activity in the legal sector
  • Client focused
  • Proven success in targetting, managing pipelines, credentials and pitches and implementing business development plans
  • A strong understanding of employment and pensions
