This professional service firm is recruiting for a Social Media & Digital Communications Executive to join their Cardiff based Marketing team. The holder will be responsible for the creation and distribution of engaging content through a broad range of social media and digital marketing channels. The successful applicant will need a thorough understanding of different social media applications as well as experience of editing web content and the distribution of e-marketing communications.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Driving the firm’s social media presence and implementing a creative content strategy for the distribution of content including blogs, thought leadership material, events and firm news
  • Proactively monitoring and updating the firm’s website to ensure the accuracy of online content and the posting of relevant material
  • Engaging with the firm’s key clients and contacts regularly via social media
  • Monitoring online press coverage and informing key stakeholders
  • Distributing a range of targeted newsletters, updates and bulletins to different clients and sectors, maximising the use of content over all relevant channels
  • Ensuring the website is optimised for SEO purposes
  • Providing regular social media and digital marketing activity reports for the marketing and business development team as well as key partners and stakeholders around the firm
  • Identifying and utilising appropriate social media trends to help grow and develop our social media presence
  • Collaborating with other members of the  business development and marketing and legal teams to plan and execute web, SEO, PPC, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Be actively involved in SEO campaigns (keyword, image optimisation)
  • Collaborating with internal teams (marketing and legal teams) to create content for appropriate channels
  • Collaborating with agencies and other providers to improve social media and digital communications experience

 

The Candidate:

  • Degree educated
  • Previous experience gained in a corporate environment
  • A strong understanding of social media including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Excellent IT skills including SEO, InDesign and web development software
