A well respected and forward thinking construction and regeneration firm is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join their team in the East of England. This position will report directly to the Head of Bids & Tenders and the holder will play a key part in driving the firm’s business development.


The Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting and editing RFP, RFQ, PQQ and ITT answers
  • Building and developing relationships with the operational teams
  • Managing the start to end bid process for all tendering activities within the business for both private and public sector clients
  • Developing the bidding processes and procedures to achieve success
  • Identifying new opportunities in line with the business strategy
  • Writing compelling responses to tender questions
  • Mentoring the junior bid support team
  • Managing and developing the bid pipeline


The Candidate:

  • Degree educated
  • Relevant experience in social housing is strongly desirable
  • Minimum  5 years’ bids experience, preferably gained within public sector bids
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is essential and Adobe Creative Suite experience is strongly desirable
