A top accountancy and auditing firm is currently looking for a PR & Communications Executive to join their London Offices. This role will play a key part in driving forward the firms PR & Communications efforts. This is an exciting time to join a firm with ambitious growth plans that this role will play a key part in supporting. The role will incorporate media relations and internal & external communications and report into the PR & Communications lead.


The Responsibilities:

  • To support the PR & Communications lead in delivering the firm’s PR and communications plans
  • To handle and respond to press enquiries as the first port of call, liaising with partners and drafting press comment / arranging interviews as appropriate (with relevant approvals)
  • To develop and implement PR plans for the firm’s regional offices, working with the regional Marketing/Business Development Executives. This will include travel to offices around the M25
  • To generate content and edit articles for the firm’s internal and external newsletters. This will involve implementing a structured timetable; briefing and chasing contributors for content and editing their articles; writing articles; and co-ordinating approvals
  • To draft, edit and proofread a range of written materials for various external newsletters, magazines and the firm’s website, including press releases; articles; and other copy as required
  • To work with the PR agency to support specific campaigns and deliver against agreed objectives, often acting as a conduit between the agency and the partners
  • To work with other members of the PD team to assist in communicating consistent messages in line with the firm’s brand values and goals.
  • Manage the news and articles section of the firm’s website. Regularly add fresh content and work with the Digital Marketing Executive to increase social media content and improve our search engine optimisation
  • Proofread and edit articles, newsletters, marketing collateral and other copy as required by partners and PD colleagues
  • Draft internal comms announcements and other copy as required


The Candidate:

  • Track record of successfully pitching stories and articles to journalists and handling press enquiries
  • Highly developed copywriting, proof reading and editing skills
  • At least four years’ relevant PR & Comms experience
  • Experience working in a professional services environment.
