An award winning national Accountancy firm is recruiting for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their team in London. The team provide advice, support and practical assistance to Partners across the UK offices and you will work together on a wide range of marketing & business development activities for the national group.


The Responsibilities:


  • Full management of the pitch process and leading on a number of specific projects, whilst initiating others.
  • Liaising with partners from the initial planning stage, ensuring adherence to the firm/Group procedures
  • Creating templates and guidelines and managing the production and drafting of the final document.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and coach the partner and manager teams.
  • Liaising with partners and managers directly, taking an active interest in advising them on best practice and practical considerations
  • Planning the stages and timing of a project and assembling appropriate assistance where available
  • Enlisting the help of the Marketing & BD Executive and Assistant in projects; and reporting to the Director at agreed intervals or stages.
  • Representing the firms marketing function at visits to Group offices and other national meetings with the Group Marketing & BD Director or in a lead capacity.
  • Editorial responsibility for a series of publications, in conjunction with the lead partner editor, and other key client communications.
  • Managing both national and local office sector focused campaigns and activities, attending sector group meetings and contributing to the marketing and new business elements of annual sector plans.
  • Assisting with the progression and communication of the Group Brand;
    • Internal and external communications
    • Ensuring branding guidelines are being followed/adhered to Group-wide
    • Researching awareness of the brand with internal and external audiences


The Candidate:

  • Significant experience in a marketing & business development role within the professional services.
  • Experience working on pitches would be highly beneficial
  • Ideally degree educated or equivalent
  • IT literate, particularly in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Publisher)
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and communication skills.
