A regional professional service firm is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager to join them on a 9 month FTC. The role will take responsibility for the marketing team and lead the firm’s business development and client relationship management strategies.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Overseeing the Marketing Team continually improves efficiencies and maintains cost control with all activities.
  • Expanding relationships with existing and prospective clients and industry-related counterparts to promote business development and identify new business opportunities.
  • Providing advice and support and ensuring execution of marketing initiatives in line with the Business Development Groups’ business plans.
  • Promoting and encouraging cross-selling between specialist areas, in line with the Business Development Groups’ business plans.
  • Assisting with establishing and maintaining strong client network ties with key work referrers.
  • Managing the firm’s PR activities, including media liaison, professional publications and communications strategy.
  • Overseeing implementation of the firm’s internal communication plan.
  • Maintaining the firm’s website (content upload, back links, SEO).
  • Managing and maintaining effective working relationships with third party suppliers, ensuring projects delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate firm databases are maintained and kept up-to-date. Effectively utilise business intelligence tools to create suitable data lists.
  • Support the firm by developing knowledge of social media and suitable applications within firm.
  • Work with Managing Partner to monitor and manage spend through accurate recording.

 

The Candidate:

 

  • Experience working within a professional service firm
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Able to work flexible hours when needed
  • Broad marketing and business development skills, ideally at manager level
