This leading national Professional Services firm is recruiting for a Marketing & Events Executive to join their Cardiff office. The holder will be responsible for a wide range of marketing activities including events, sponsorships, advertising, public relations, direct mail, website management and research for practice areas.


The Responsibilities:


  • Co-ordinate events and seminars; source internal and external venues and negotiate favourable rates; prepare invitations and invitation lists; prepare speakers notes, slides and packs; greet clients and delegates; prepare post-event reports, invoices and support follow-up activity.
  • Be the main point of contact for Partners and other key members of the corporate and banking division for marketing activity and build strong relationships with key personnel within the firm.
  • Identify and produce timely and relevant press articles primarily for use on the website or as external PR pieces.
  • Produce marketing collateral including product sheets, capability documents, invitation, briefings and adverts. Experience of design work would be an advantage.
  • Keep marketing materials updated with recent deals, information and amended contact details.
  • Source and manage external production marketing collateral as required.
  • Manage corporate hospitality and tickets for sports and cultural events.
  • Undertake research as required.
  • Ensure consistent use of the firm’s brand for any materials produced for external use including presentations, flyers, mail-shots etc.
  • Provide regular updates to the Marketing/Business Development teams as well as the corporate and property division/firm on marketing initiatives.
  • Update the website as and when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date client and target contact information.
  • Co-ordinate mail outs and distribution of electronic updates.


The Candidate:

  • Previous experience gained in a marketing role in a B2B environment. Any professional services experience would be an advantage
  • Strong marketing and communications experience and experienced in managing projects
  • Experience at organising corporate events
