A leading specialist consultancy based in the heart of London is seeking a Marketing & Events Coordinator to join a growing team. You will sit within the Marketing & Business Development team and be responsible for the smooth running of events and marketing activity. You will need excellent project management skills, the ability to work under pressure and have an exceptional eye for detail.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for taking ownership of all logistical elements for the firm’s events.
  • Processing course bookings/event registrations and communicating with delegates.
  • Project managing and monitoring the full calendar of events, making suggestions for continuous improvement, where relevant.
  • Becoming the main point of contact for operational and day-to-day activities relating to the firms events.
  • Working with the firms consultants to ensure the smooth running of all events and courses, including the preparation of materials.
  • Delivering programmes to budget guidelines and accurately monitoring spend.
  • Working accurately and efficiently to fixed deadlines.
  • Liaising with venues, catering, AV suppliers, printers and guest speakers.
  • Working with the Marketing and Business Development team management to share potential business development opportunities presented by delegates at events or courses.
  • Working closely and effectively with other business support and consultancy teams across the firm to ensure the successful delivery of all events to the excellent standards expected by our clients.

 

The Candidate:

  • Experience as an event’s organiser with a track record of having organised and taken briefs on events including conferences, workshops, seminars and courses.
  • Experience using InDesign, social media, and MailChimp would be advantageous.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organisation skills, someone who will build strong relationships across the business and with suppliers.
  • Experience working in a similar consultancy or professional services environment would be advantageous.
