This award winning firm in Winchester is recruiting for a Marketing Database Analyst to join their Winchester based marketing team.  They are looking for a team player who can guide and support the enforcement of data practices across the firm who is passionate about delivering excellent client service both internally and externally.


The Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Business Development to develop and implement (together with others in the business) a data strategy that helps us maximise business opportunities.
  • Mine data to unearth useful insights to help answer wider business performance questions.
  • Report on key metrics and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Develop reporting and help to feed insight gained through the CRM and other data sources into the BD team and wider business.
  • Work closely with CRM Executive and Digital Marketing Manager to ensure the data strategy is joined up and consistent across the function
  • Proactively ensure data quality and reliability by making sure the firm understands and deals with any bouncebacks, corporate changes (e.g. mergers) or job moves
  • Responsible for regular data cleansing programme to ensure integrity of data is maintained.
  • Liaise with people at all levels within the business, to deal with general database enquiries and encourage better use of the system.
  • Assist with training of internal users of the database.
  • Support segmentation and list building for marketing campaigns to clients
  • Produce reports and internal communications to help the BD team communicate with the wider business (including a weekly BD Update)
  • Support the Events Executive on an ad-hoc basis, particularly in the management of attendee lists
  • Produce client/prospect research from CRM and other sources as needed to support marketing and sales campaigns


The Candidate:

  • 1 – 2 years’  experience working with CRM databases and mining data to unearth useful insights
  • Detail focused and passionate about data quality and processes
  • A team player who can guide and support the enforcement of good data practices across the firm
