A leading progressive and award winning law firm at the top of its game currently seek a Marketing Communications Manager to join their team in London on a 6 month FTC. This is a crucial role managing a team of 4 and work closely with various departments to advise and support the delivery of client seminars, webinars and roundtable events. The person will also support the delivery of UK led eMarketing campaigns. With the ability to work within a professional, dynamic and high volume environment, the role will work in tandem with the Marketing Account Management team.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Line management of three assistants and one advisor, this involves having weekly/bi-weekly one to ones meetings to discuss both professional and personal development. Ensuring regular performance and career development conversations are taking place and work with them to set measurable objectives.
  • Delivering the London seminar programme, advising on appropriate format; venue booking; monitoring registration numbers; providing regular updates to Partner speakers and Marketing Account Managers; coordination of slides and production of slide packs.
  • On the day management of the Client seminar programme, including breakfast briefings, roundtables and webinars.
  • Uses the firms CRM system (Interaction) to help plan and execute client invitations and newsletters.
  • Advocating best practice globally
  • League table submissions
  • Client communications (printed and e-comms)
  • Monitor the team mailbox for incoming work and allocate to team members, ensuring it is emptied regularly and that emails are filed accordingly.

 

 

The Candidate:

 

  • Strong team management and delivery experience
  • Strong experience managing seminars, webinars, roundtable events
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working within a professional services environment.
  • A good understanding of how a business works with the ability to think strategically.
