This global consultancy is looking for an Events Executive to cover a period of maternity. Reporting to the Head of International Marketing, the holder will be responsible for the organisation and administration of a full suite of events ranging from networking days out, seminars and conferences. The successful candidate will have several years’ experience working within a professional services environment in a similar role.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and advising the practice streams in the organisation of a wide range of events, ranging from golf days and seminars, to large hospitality events for over 100 attendees
  • Help develop event requirements, from first briefing meeting through to the running of the event on the actual day
  • Involvement in the pre-planning of such events, including booking the event space, sourcing speakers and measuring attendance for all London and international events
  • Help to arrange collateral and distribution of material for events
  • Being available on site on the date of the event to assists in the registration and welcoming of guests when required
  • Reporting analysis and feedback back to event contact. Organising de-brief meetings when appropriate
  • Managing the procurement of Branded Merchandise
  • Other ad-hoc admin where required

 

The Candidate:

  • Experience of writing copy for event invitations and communications (electronic and hard copy)
  • Proven event management skills; ability to coordinate, manage budgets, prioritise and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience using a CRM system to log, send and track event invitations, RSVPs and analysis
  • Confidence in managing key stakeholders and senior managers both internal and external of the business
  • Experience in market research, identifying key contacts for bespoke events
