This leading global professional services firm is recruiting for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their London office on a 12 month fixed term maternity cover basis. This role will develop and implement their digital marketing strategy including, website, email, social media, digital content and SEO. This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic digital marketer to shape the firm’s digital future.


The Responsibilities:


  • Develop plans for more strategic and impactful use of the websites, social media, email marketing, SEO and digital content
  • Work closely with BD team to advise them in the best use of digital channels for marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with IT developers to prioritise and input into the pipeline of development, and work together to deliver upgrades and projects
  • Work closely with the communications team, design team, BD managers and external agencies to create, distribute and measure the success of impactful digital content
  • Analyse lead generation via digital channels and provide regular reports to our sales team
  • Analyse digital marketing performance on a regular basis and provide reports and recommendations to Director of Business Development. Implement improvements regularly.
  • Stay on top of new developments, competitor activity, technology and suppliers and ensure that they implement the best new ideas
  • Optimise for client experience, lead generation, social media integration and content.
  • Draft website content for both larger projects and day to day changes.
  • Act as sitemaster, ensuring the homepage and other content is up to date and changes regularly, that they optimise cross marketing opportunities, and that old content is removed or updated.
  • Develop SEO strategy to ensure the website is optimised and performing well
  • Regularly look at analytics to see what’s working well and report back to the business. Implement recommendations for change where appropriate
  • Own the email marketing strategy and develop our use of our email marketing tool (currently exact target).
  • Assess success of campaigns and report back regularly to the business
  • Assess available email marketing platforms and if appropriate, manage any change in provider
  • Ensure email platform is linked with and performing well with our other databases/ CRM tool in due course
  • Develop strategies to nurture and develop potential prospects via email
  • Develop the social media strategy for both corporate feeds and “social media stars”. Support Partners in using social media to build their individual profiles for the benefit of the firm.
  • Be the ‘voice’ of the firm on social media channels, working with the rest of the BD team to plan content, populate feeds and interact where appropriate
  • Manage the overall webinars strategy and the relationship with our webinar supplier. Work with team members to help them deliver webinars and derive on-going benefit from recordings.


The Candidate:

  • A passionate and enthusiastic digital marketer
  • Knowledge of current emerging digital trends and the implications they have for business and marketing
  • Track record of developing and implementing strategic digital marketing plans resulting in measurable commercial success
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into digital marketing KPIs
  • Knowledge of the principles of SEO and search and display, and the different roles they play in the customer journey
